This is a kicked up Mexican style sauce with great flavor and is one of my ‘go to’ hot sauces for any kind of Mexican food.

Smell & Taste:  The sauce has a smoky aroma, almost like that of tasty BBQ sauce, coupled with a good kick of heat from the ghost peppers. It’s hot, but not too hot to enjoy. An exceptionally balanced hot sauce with chocolate/smoky notes.

Heat Level:  This sauce has a good level of heat, but it’s not too overpowering, which allows you to fully enjoy the smoky flavor.  “it’s kinda hot”

Texture: This dark, medium thick sauce is blended smooth. It pours nicely without being overly runny.

Uses:  This is one of my favorite hot sauces for Mexican food. It just pairs perfectly with tacos and enchiladas. This versatile sauce is also great in chile or on steak & chicken.

Flavor: 9/10  –  Heat: 4/10

Since heat tolerance is subjective, I consider Sriracha to be a 3/10, which can be pretty spicy to some. You won’t be disappointed!

Ingredients: Tomato Puree, Apple Cider Vinegar, Modified Food Starch, Salt, Cocoa Powder, Garlic, Fresh Lemon Pulp, Ghost Peppers, Cumin.

About: The award-winning Moe Mountain Hot Sauce was born in West Milford, New Jersey. After much hard work & taste testing by Martin Olsen, he landed on a unique blend of natural ingredients destined to wake up those tastebuds: apple cider vinegar, cumin, and cocoa powder. But the star ingredient is the legendary ghost pepper. What about the name? An area of West Milford was once known as Moe Mountain. Martin thought it fitting to pay tribute to that memory with his spicy creation.
